Miniatures Art Show
I had one of my pieces accepted into the Miniatures Art Show (an online show, as of right now) at the Linus Gallery in southern California. My piece, "Circles Learning From Experience," is eligible to be selected for the live collective show coming up this Fall. I'll keep ya'll posted. :)

Every day...
...you walk with stronger step, you walk with longer step, the worst is over. < 3
This is documentation of my show that I took down today. It went well. I'm grateful that I was able to do this, and I'm glad that I gained so much experience putting it all together. These past few months since being home from my mission, I've learned so much about adversity and rejection: a billion job applications, a billion show applications, almost as many rejections from both, and a continually breaking heart really brought me down to a low point. But more importantly, I learned that if you just keep pushing forward with faith that things will resolve themselves. Don't give up. There are good things to come. :)
(check out how messed up my hair is hahah)

The VA Core Art Show
Okay, so I don't know if that's really what it's called... I have no idea what it's called. It's up in the HFAC right now. I got a couple pieces put in it and they are currently displayed on the fourth floor...
Sadly, my name was spelled wrong on one (lecia) , and credit was given to someone else entirely on another (a kid named drew from my drawing class).
But on the brighter side I won $33 for getting a jurors award. :D
So it wasn't a total bust, haha.
